Ozzy With UFO supporting in 1982 Rene M. Cuellar

The tour to support Diary of a Madman was my first real concert and it was one hell of a start for future shows! UFO were touring their Mechanix tour and were a hell of an opener. I recall the coliseum had chairs like the ones from school cafeterias set up on the floor and the punters began to stack them up 8, 9 , 10 tall. To the point where they were seeing Phil Mogg almost eye to eye! After a scorching set, Ozzy came out with a huge mirrored cross to the pre-recorded outro of the title track with choir and all and preceded to burn the faces of all in attendance. Hell of a show with Mr. Randy Rhoads at the helm for some phenomenal guitar playing. The show was extremely loud(Not Motorhead Loud but none the less LOUD)and for an 8th grader attending Catholic school at the time, I was introduced to the "Dark Side" and have never looked back since!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YYYYYEEEEEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!
